This Player Option is quite unique. This kind of player option is being used in the MLB and NHL and now it's making it's way to NBA. This player option states that if Chris Paul is to be traded, in that season Chris Paul still finishes the season but he can choose to opt out of his contract early when the season ends and become a free agent.
