I agree Arenas while not spectacular will step in nicely at the backup 2 for me and provide some scoring off the bench for a playoff run hopefully. Given that his agent said he would void his player option for year 2 if he got traded to a contender I figured i would take a shot that he could give me something for the stretch run.

This is mostly to make room for a run at a free agent in the off season.
