I told PA and the rest of the league I would quit if PA sat Mayo and Martin for the last sim. I think its complete bullshit how you threaten me to trade everyone as soon as I posted a deal and then when im sitting in the 9th spot on verge of making the playoffs you sit both of them and completely kill my chances of making it therefore kill my chances of keeping my players in The offseason. Because ACCORDING TO YOU PA the only shot I had of keeping my players happy was to make the playoffs. Right as the wolves are battling for the 8th spot you sit 2 of my best players. Thats shitty and my 2 cents. Youre not the fucking gm in this league and you have no right to sit any of my players or any other teams players. I would understand a little if I had the worst record in the league but I was 9th in the west and 1 game behind going into the last sim and you sat two of my best players. Unacceptable and you lost a very active member this way in a league I very much enjoyed but if an AGENT is going to have that much control over a team I dont want to be in it.

Unfortunate, I don't blame you but PA did warn you multiple times bro. You wouldn't have made the playoffs anyways

tough situation, they wouldnt have sit out in real life imo Agreed , especially Mayo who's in a contract year . But at the same time this isn't real life and he was fairly warned

again, I gave you plenty of chances, I even told you it wouldn't work when you traded for Harris and I thought for sure you would back out of that deal with Cleveland when salaries didn't match, but I was very surprised when you went through with it. As an agent, I couldn't let 4 of my clients be undervalued the way they were on your team, if you were contending then fine, I might allow it, but you weren't and so I had to get someone out of there, obviously I'm going to say something about it when a team is under performing that much and it's affecting nearly 1/5 of the players I own (especially when all 4 are capable of 20 points a game).
And I did say I wanted one of those 4 players moved before the trade deadline, none of those 4 guys were moved so I took action. What was happening didn't really work for either side, I was losing potential money (especially for Mayo) and you were the worst defense in the league. Even if you made the playoffs, you would get knocked out in the first round and you would still have to move someone (and, I was actually being nice, because I really wanted Granger and Martin moved from Minny). The point wasn't making the playoffs, the point was moving one of those 4 guys.
And again, you gave me too much power by trading for all 4 of those guys, if you went after other players that weren't my clients, you simply wouldn't have given me the power. I don't have much power over the Thunder even though I would want to move Cousins and Evans there. I don't have much power over the Nuggets since I would want to keep Wade and Dwight there. I don't even have control over Chris Paul, where I preferred he stayed with the Clippers. You just gave me the power to almost act as your GM, maybe that's how the cards fell and maybe those were the only players you could get, but again I can't just let something like that go, that's just bad managing on my end.
You didn't take me seriously, I could tell by the way you were blowing off everything I said, so I took action, that's really what happened here.
I gave you an option to get Mayo back, which I shouldn't really do from my point of view, but I did.

I'm wondering if GMs are useful in this league. Maybe agents could play by themselves. As they are already making free agent signings, DC, trades, team strategy, there would not be a lot of additional work.

Im starting to feel the same as above ^^^ I am quite frustrated by the fact that I am getting pressure all around to destroy and rip apart my team. I feel for the Wolves and believe that in their same position I would have been quite frustrated as well. I believe that Agents have too much power in this league and Stache needs to come down harsh on some (NOT ALL) of the agents

agents aren't making any trades for anyone, and we're not forcing anyone to sign FA's either.
Agents don't have that much power in this league unless you give it to them or make it easy for them, hence this situation.
The system is suppose to create a conflict of interest, GM's want to win and have the best players, agents want the money (and to win as well).

Durant's been pretty happy in OKC (despite the jokes I make on the SB)

IRL agents have almost no power. They decide FA and they decide contracts, but they do not decide if player are happy. I truly cannot remember a time where a player was unhappy or a team was unhappy because they had 4-5 good players...perfect example was the Boston Celtics (Rondo, Allen, PP, Garnett)....Only reason Allen left is because of Rondo...now that is legitimate but not everyone has a problem with everyone and the fact that so many people become unhappy because they play with other good players is surprisingly and unrealistic

I think this was just a unique case as one agent basically owned all the core players on one team so something was bound to happen . And Sheddy your situation happens all the time in real life when teams just can't afford to keep all their stars they have to make some trades . Ex. Thunder and James Harden
